Scranton, Pennsylvania

Scranton is Pennsylvania’s seventh largest city, with an estimated population of 72,233 in 2008. It is often twinned with the nearby city of Wilkes–Barre, but it is the larger of the two and the Lackawanna County seat. Scranton expanded significantly from its colonial beginnings thanks to the iron and steel industries. In fact, the city gets its name from brothers Seldon T. and George W. Scranton, who founded the Lackawanna Steel Company and a railroad to take away iron and coal products. It later became a major center for anthracite coal mining and textile manufacturing, triggering waves of European immigration reflected by the modern city’s large Polish, Irish and Italian enclaves. Rosenbaum & Associates maintains an office in Allentown in addition to its main office in downtown Philadelphia and others, so we can serve clients from throughout northeastern Pennsylvania.

Rosenbaum & Associates represents only plaintiffs –– people who are seeking compensation for an injury –– and never take on work defending wrongdoers. Because we work with so many injured people, we understand that a serious injury affects every part of your life –– physical and emotional health, financial security and massive changes to your day–to–day routine. Our Pennsylvania injury lawyers work hard to get our clients justice and a fair financial settlement, to ease some of these concerns and help them get the medical care they need. As experienced personal injury attorneys, we understand how to get you the best possible settlement, and won’t settle until we believe we have it in hand.

Our firm focuses its practice exclusively on defending the rights of people who were seriously injured through no fault of their own. This includes pursuing medical malpractice lawsuits as well as every type of personal injury claim. The attorneys at Rosenbaum & Associates represent people who were seriously injured in car, truck and motorcycle crashes; construction accidents; accidents with defective products; abuse and neglect at nursing homes; and “slip and fall,” or premises liability, accidents. We handle people with every type of injury, including a wrongful death caused by someone else’s carelessness as well as brain injuries, spinal injuries and injuries from fires and explosions. And when medical professionals or institutions make very serious mistakes, we can handle medical malpractice lawsuits against those wrongdoers.

At Rosenbaum & Associates, we offer free consultations, so potential clients can ask us about the strength and value of their cases with no further obligation or charge. You are always welcome to contact us online or call us toll–free at 1–800–753–4257. To get to our Allentown office from Scranton, take Interstate 81 south and merge onto Interstate 476 south.
