Do I have a right to recover?
Under Pennsylvania law you must prove that one or more of the defendants is at least 50 percent at fault. You also need to establish that the defendant's negligence caused your injuries. What am I entitled to?
There are numerous factors that must be considered when settling a claim. Pennsylvania law allows recovery for pain and suffering, disfigurement, lost wages, past and future medical bills, and future loss of earning capacity. In some claims such as car accidents, if the medical bills have already been paid you cannot submit them for recovery. There can also be a separate recovery for your spouse called loss of consortium. How long will my case take to resolve?

It is important to understand once you settle a claim you cannot go back for more money, even if you later realize that your injuries are more serious then you thought when you settled your case. Therefore, the most important factor in the timing of your settlement is your medical treatment and prognosis. Sometimes your doctor will need to see you over a period of time in order to determine the extent of your injuries and whether they are permanent. If you continue to suffer or the injuries are permanent then you should be compensated for all your future losses.
What are the attorney's fees?
There are no attorney's fees until we make a recovery. If we accept your personal injury or medical malpractice case, then we take the risk. You do not pay any fees or costs out of pocket. We are only reimbursed if we make a recovery, this is typically referred to as contingent fee agreement.
